ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man

I’m slowly begging to think that ZZ Top is the most awesome band on earth.

Good morning.

Lou Reed - The Gun

Oingo Boingo - Insanity

I’d love to take you home with me and tuck you into bed
I’d love to see what makes you tick inside your pretty head
I wish that I could keep you in a precious Chinese box
On Sundays I would pray for you so it would never stop
I’d love to hear you laugh tonight, I’d love to hear you weep
I’d love to listen to you while you’re screaming in your sleep
I’d love to soothe you with my voice and take your hand in mine
I’d love to take you past the stars and out of reach of time
I’d love to see inside your mind and tear it all apart
To cut you open with a knife and find your sacred heart
I’d love to take your satin dolls and tear them all to shreds
I’d love to mess your pretty hair, I’d love to see you dead.

Iron Maiden - The Evil That Men Do

For a long time, I believed this song was called “Believe in Life” (?).

Good Morning.

Dimmer - Underworld Rock Super Mario Bros (ocremix.org)

(Playing Audiosurf and wtf)

N-JekteD - Doom Purgatory ReMix (ocremix.org)

One of the downloads and easily one of the best mixes ever for Doom.

Babylon Zoo - Spaceman

Cheesy 90’s music FTW.

Off to the office.

Depeche Mode - Home (live)

And i thank you for bringing me here
For showing me home
For singing these tears
Finally i’ve found that i belong here

Korn - Good God
I can proudly say I wasn’t a fan of Korn back then and still aren’t, but I enjoy their earlier albums. I did went and saw them live back in 2002 or so and it was a terrible performance, mostly because Papa Roach played first and it was much, much better.
However, back then it was easily one of the biggest bands in the world and everyone had to say something about them. Personally, I found them okay, but never outstanding. I lost track of them after Issues, but these days I got hold of The Path of Totality, some sort of abomination mixed with Dubstep that’s absolutely impossible to listen. Fortunately, Life is Peachy and Issues, their best albums IMO, are still there to remember a happier time.
I got no idea who that blonde guy is and goddamn there is a lot of hair there.

Lily Allen - Alfie
This might seem like a huge mood whiplash but I got that huge and awesome eclectic musical taste.
I probably like Lily herself more than her music, but she’s a talented songwriter and a nice singer, plus her songs - ironically - almost instantly put me in a good mood. This might also be because after several hours of listening to Static X, Alice in Chains and Ministry, one tends to be a bit aggressive. Nevertheless, part of the Anti Metal Troupe.

Coheed and Cambria - The Broken
(From the series “music I’ve been listening to that for one reason or another it doesn’t show up on my last.fm”)
Coheed and Cambria (AKA The Ultimate Nerd Band) came across my ear when I noticed that there was a huge ammount of noise about this band. I assumed them to be some random hardcore band, as there was a big influx of them around that time (that would be 2006), so I downloaded some songs, and called it a day. I didn’t really pay too much attention to them because “The Suffering” and “A Favour House Atlantic”  were so silly, until at some point, the Winamp shuffle hit “Welcome Home”, and it was such an awesome song I actually got the albums.
Year of the Black Rainbow was pretty badly received around their notably whimsical fandom, but I thought it was pretty damn good, particulary because they no longer sound like a silly sophomoric symphonic-progressive-post punk band. Now they sound like fuck hell if I know. Some sort of metal.

Poets of the Fall - The Poet and the Muse

(As the Old Gods of Asgard)

There is a really awesome part in the game where you fight a bunch of enemies with a really awesome song playing, on a fully operational stage with fireworks, lights and propsm but if you’re not playing the effect might be just lost.

Poets of the Fall - Late Goodbye

Remedy picked up an absolutely awesome band to add music to their games.

Everyone Else has had More Sex than Me - TISM

This album (and song and video!) is awesome.

Good morning!

…….i am confused, it sounds like Pantera playing Blink 182? Its awesome
