Protests are made to raise awareness. If people who are indifferent begin to voice their discontent realize what’s going on, more people will complain and “those in power” will have to answer.

Of course, if people stay behind the walls of ignorance and talk about how “these hackers will destroy internet we need to stop them” that’s an entirely different matter altogether but at least they are doing something. They might not even realize it, of course, because of “the lulz”.

I’m aware of what a protest is and the reasons people do it. I was only saying that the way Anon is doing it(IN MY OPINION FOR HEAVENS SAKE LET ME CLARIFY THAT RIGHT NOW) is absolutely insanely unthought out and will only cause to hurt our chances of this bill never being passed. They are attacking government sites. Honestly you could consider it a form a terrorism and is not something they should be doing at all.
